VolunteerMark at Kansas Conference on Service & Volunteerism

Have you heard of Kansas Volunteer Commission’s Kansas annual conference? It is called the Kansas Conference on Service & Volunteer (KVC) and we get to present there this year!  The conference is designed to promote nonprofits and volunteerism. 

“The mission of the Kansas Volunteer Commission is achieved through:

  • Supporting Kansas AmeriCorps, Volunteer Generation Fund programs and Kansas Mentors.
  • Administering federal funding to AmeriCorps State and Volunteer Generation Fund programs.
  • Providing assistance to AmeriCorps National, AmeriCorps Vista and Senior Corps programs.
  • Creating a network of service organizations throughout the state.”

This is a fantastic conference to attend if you want to meet nonprofit leaders, mentor leaders, volunteer leaders, AmeriCorps members, VISTA members, and Senior Corps members.  You willlearn and share best practices, share skills, and collaborate on strategies.   

Andrew will be speaking about VolunteerMark and volunteer management for today’s generation.  He will teach you the best practices for technology and social media.  The conference is this Thursday and Friday (October 17th & 18thand Andrew speaks at 9 am on Friday.
