Nonprofit “Brown Bag” Forum

We have started a monthly forum for nonprofit organizations to come together and share ideas.  VolunteerMark’s forum is all about collaborating, creating new ideas together, and getting feedback in an informal atmosphere.  We’re really excited about it and we would love to see you all there!

The details:

What: Brown bag conversation about “Volunteer Management”
When:  1st Wednesday of each month (Starting October 2nd)
Time:   12pm – 1pm
Where:   Archer Foundation (Town Center; 5250 W 116th Place, Suite 200, Leawood, KS)
Cost:  FREE.  (You will have to bring your own lunch, but our first event on October 2nd will be catered thanks to Archer Foundation)
Who:  Nonprofit leaders

Our Inspiration
We want to model this to be an event similar to 1 Million Cups, which is a community event for startup companies to share 6-minute presentations highlighting their progress and current challenges.  Afterward, there is a Q&A session that always inspires a lot of ideas.  It’s a great way to bring people together and it creates a sense of camaraderie between the community and the startups.
