Welcome to the family — Mother’s Refuge:

We want to take just a minute to introduce the newest organization to the VolunteerMark family — Mother’s Refuge.

The Independence, Mo., based nonprofit gives teenagers an opportunity to deliver their babies in a safe, loving home and prepare them for a life of independence and success.

As you will soon see on their VolunteerMark organizational page, Mother’s Refuge has plenty of volunteer opportunities including tutors, office work, house managers and construction. Last year, the charity’s facility caught fire and burned down, so they are currently building a new house to welcome single teen moms and their children into.
